Zenith House Reveal: Part II

House Reveal: Part II

Upper & Lower Level Designs

Last week we gave you a glimpse of the main level of our recent project in Edina - a full knock down and rebuild from the ground up. So today, we’re diving into the rest of the house to give you the full picture.

Keeping to the modern farmhouse style, these rooms combine classic vibes with chic and sleek elements to create the perfect living spaces. Let’s take a look:

Master Bathroom

Using soft and subtle neutrals, this bathroom gives us all the luxurious feels. Floor hexagon tiles in taupe tie in perfectly with the taupe countertops and the shower floor tiles, and white textured subway tiles give a farmhouse twist to the space. Chrome finishing tops it all off, making an appearance in the cabinet hardware, the faucets, the light fixtures, and the mirrors. Plus, the bathroom is spacious, allowing for double sinks and ample counter space and drawers. The overall look is streamlined and clean - there’s nothing better!

Hallway Bathroom

Unlike the overall neutrals of the master bath, this hallway bathroom shines with a coat of soft farmhouse-inspired blue on the cabinets. Though everything else is simple – white classic subway tiles in the shower, white penny floor tiles, and warm white walls – the bathroom still manages to make a statement by pairing the white and blue combo with pops of matte black accents in the hardware, faucets, and fixtures. The result is a crisp and fresh space that, frankly, we can’t get enough of.

Laundry Room

Combining both function and style, this laundry room makes us want to do laundry all day long. The graphic floor tiles – a unique design mixing beige, white, black, and blue – set the tone for the rest of the room and provide a surprising visual element. We opted for brushed nickel hardware to keep things classic and refined, and we chose to incorporate a white faucet and sink for a seamless and subtle look. The small space is strategic, too, offering plenty of upper and lower cabinet storage to tuck laundry and cleaning necessities out of the way, and a conveniently-placed bar allows for air drying without taking up precious floor space. Style wise, everything is topped off with warm brown baskets for linens and beautiful glass canisters to showcase detergent.

Lower Level Bar

This beautiful bar is an eye-popper, no doubt. The reclaimed wood wall has farmhouse style written all over it, and it’s the perfect warm contrast to the rest of the neutral, bright living space. To keep the focus on the wall, we used matte black light fixtures with a minimal style and exposed bulbs, and kept the countertop, brushed nickel faucet, and warm gray cabinets simple and understated. Paired with the wine refrigerator tucked neatly underneath, it’s the perfect home bar setup. We don’t know about you, but we’d like to bump up to this bar for an evening cocktail just about every day.

So, are you dying to incorporate some modern, yet classic, farmhouse style into your home? It’s hard to resist such a simple and timeless look. We loved designing this home and can’t get enough of the layered texture in this neutral getaway. Now it’s off to daydream about our next project!
